I spent the first 18 years of my education in the English school system before hopping over the pond to give something quite different a go. Four years at an American university (with a brief exchange at the University of Hong Kong) has turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made - so much so that I’d like to do everything I can to help others experience a liberal arts education. ...
Rish graduated from University College London with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Economics and teaches a variety of subjects to students from aged 7 to 18 years old in both one to one and group settings. He has extensive experience in helping children achieve their potential through simple yet productive methods, primarily focusing on 7+, 11+, GCSE & A Level examinations. He works closely with the parents or guardians of the student to create accessible and efficient plans of action, giving the student the greatest opportunity to succeed. Aside from tuition, his passions lie in sports, including Football and Mountaineering, as well as volunteering for organisations aiming to improve Educational opportunities in rural Africa. ...
My name is Josephine and I am currently completing my Masters degree in History of Architecture at the UCL Faculty of the Built Environment (MA), The Bartlett; prior to which I studied History of Art at the University of Cambridge (BA): 2:1. During my undergraduate degree at Cambridge University I received a grant to spend six months in Mexico City researching Mexican architectural modernism and the development of the urban landscape, working towards an undergraduate thesis that I am currently extending at a postgraduate level. During this time I worked closely with the university of Mexico in their archives department.

I attended a comprehensive secondary school in north London, and achieved straight A* - A qualifications in both my GCSE and A Levels. For the latter I studied History of Art, English and History, and received full marks on both my final History and English A Level exams. My specialities lie in urban, social and aesthetic history, philosophy and socio-economic and socio-political critical theory. I am fluent in all humanities and social science subjects. I have ambitions of becoming an academic, and hope to impart this passion and enthusiasm onto the students I teach, despite any lack of confidence they may have.

I have extensive experience working with children, having worked as an au pair in Madrid, Spain between my undergraduate and postgraduate studies, and as a regular childminder for a family in central London. ...
Having studied in a boarding school in West Sussex, where I was a deputy-head of house and School prefect, I studied Archaeology and Anthropology at the University of Cambridge. At university, I encountered a wide variety of disciplines and ways of thinking; from politics, to psychology to history. I completed an MSc degree in Law and Anthropology at The London School of Economics (LSE), during which I worked as an administrator for a legal research network and organised conferences for a international think tank, most notably a conference at the European Union parliament in Brussels.

Following my studies, I worked for the Department for Education in Westminster, where I advised schools on how to progress and collaborate with each other. I also began volunteering with a grassroots educational charity that mentors children from underrepresented communities through organising sports coaching and workshops.

I then went on to teach History at Rugby School, a top-tier boarding school in the Midlands, where I taught students between the ages of 13 to 18 years. I was also a pastoral tutor in a boarding house, where I was responsible for helping the sixth form students with their university and UCAS applications.

I am a London School of Economics (LSE) graduate, where I completed a BSc in Mathematics with Economics in 2014. Since then, I have worked in the aerospace and renewable energy sectors both in the UK and Denmark. As of September 2020, I will begin my PGCE Secondary Mathematics with QTS in North London.

I have 4 years of tutoring experience, including 1 year of online tuition. I enjoy teaching students of different age groups and ability levels as I always tailor my teaching to each student.

I attended a mixed comprehensive secondary school where I achieved 7 A* and 4 As at GCSE and went onto complete 5 A Levels, including an A* in maths which I completed in one year instead of two. ...

I am currently a consultant with the Boston Consulting Group in the United States, and was previously a consultant in London. I specialise in two areas: 1) University admissions (particularly for economics and business-related courses); and 2) Job admissions (particularly CV, cover letter, and consulting applications) ...

I have taught at 3 major UK boarding schools: Eton College (current); Harrow School and St Edward's School, Oxford. I have also taught in the state sector, and therefore have experience working with students of all abilities. I have over 10 years of experience as a private tutor.

I have a degree in PPE for the University of Oxford, and a PGCE in Mathematics. I have 7 A Levels (all A grade) including Mathematics and Further Mathematics, which enables me to teach a broad range of subjects and give a balanced perspective.

My tutoring philosophy: It is essential for the student to spend as much time as possible thinking and answering questions during tutorials. A good tutor will ask the right questions at the right time to allow the student to make connections. I provide them with the necessary structure and careful prompts to guide them towards better understanding.

I am passionate about giving young people opportunities to improve. I love seeing students experience "lightbulb moments". I have taught all of my adult life in some of the best schools in the world.

I am a very keen sportsman. I have represented Wales at hockey and earned multiple Oxford Blues whilst at university. I also enjoy playing the piano to relax. ...

This year, I will also co-teach a class on international trade with the Dean of the School of Public Policy at LSE! I have a Bachelor's degree from Brown University in physics and philosophy and a Master's degree from Harvard in economics and public policy, where my thesis won 'Most Outstanding'. Outside of work, I deeply enjoy tutoring students to assist with Economics, Mathematics, Physics and college applications. I especially enjoy awakening students inner curiosity and passion for knowledge, learning and excellence. ...
