My Tutoring & Teaching Experience

I first started teaching in 2010 when I took a volunteer position in a state-run primary school in Banepa, Nepal. This was original designed as an English teaching position however it soon evolved into teaching Maths, IT and even after-school sports sessions. Between 2011 and 2012 I worked as an English teacher in Taiwan where I taught English as a second language to students of various ages, ranging from Kindergarten to senior high school. During this time I also began working as a private tutor, providing language tuition to adults who wanted to improve their professional and business English skills. As a result of these experiences I have learned how to tailor my lessons to suit the needs of a wide range of students with vastly different educational needs

Since beginning my studies in London I have reconnected with my childhood love for martial arts, having joined both the karate and boxing teams at the university. Finally, I am also bilingual, being raised a native Welsh speaker.
