We have tutors on board who have taught all ages, at all levels, and to all abilities. That means that they will connect with you as an individual, with your particular learning style and needs. Our history tutors have all studied history at university; most in Oxford, Cambridge or one of the Ivy League Colleges. Some have done or are doing doctorates. They are passionate about communicating their interest in the past.

If you struggle at essay-writing, for example, we focus on strategies to help you change a liability into an academic strength. We meet you, in short, where you are. Whatever your interest or need, we take this as our starting point. We go into the trenches together. We seek to enable you to meet any and all challenges.
History Exam Preparation
We know that exams can be stressful times. We know that history students often have difficulty in putting what they know onto paper. So many facts, so little time. We know that it’s hard to distinguish what is relevant from what is not. We know that it’s often easier to tell the story and forget the analysis. We know that under pressure, with the best will in the world, students don’t always answer questions as they should.
Our goal is to transform the exam experience for you. Yes, it is about better results; but it is also equally about giving you excellent transferable skills – like concentration under pressure, time management, revision note-taking, planning.
For revision, we recommend focused and intense sessions held regularly. We identify the types of questions involved and the particular challenges a student faces. We review homework, practice tests and mock exams to identify issues. And then begins the task of resolving difficulties, of making a student feel confident of their own knowledge and skills going into an exam. We believe that you’ll go into an exam, marching not quivering. History doesn’t have to repeat itself.

I moved to London in 2019 to attend the master's programme in the History of Art at the Courtauld Institute (M.A. distinction, 2020; course: German Modernism: Politics, Utopia, and Times of Turmoil).
