Our Spanish Tutors

Spanish Tutoring at with Wentworth Education

We have tutors who have taught all ages, at all levels, and to all abilities. That means that they have the experience to focus on your particular learning style and needs. Our tutors have all studied their relevant language(s) at university; most in Oxford, Cambridge or one of the Ivy League Colleges. Some have done or are doing doctorates.

Spanish Tutoring at Wentworth Education

Spanish tutoring at Wentworth Education takes many forms. This can vary from sessions focussed principally on grammar: consolidating areas covered at school, teaching new tenses and practising newly acquired skills in writing and conversation; to work on cultural topics such as current affairs, literature and film.

Spanish Exam Preparation

Exams for Modern Languages are designed to test four core skills: listening, reading, writing and speaking. Our tutors are here to provide tailored support in each of these areas. They will work with you on your exam technique, as well as ensuring your knowledge of grammar and relevant vocabulary is up to scratch.

For revision-focused tutorials, we recommend regular sessions that concentrate on refining exam technique and resolving specific problem-areas. By reviewing homework, class assessments and mock exam papers together, we identify the particular challenges faced by the student, and ensure that these issues are resolved in plenty of time for the exam.

Beyond examinations, it is important to recognise that, perhaps more than any other subject, language-learning is a skill that extends far beyond assessment. As such, our tutors consistently place emphasis on the application of acquired language skills in real-life scenarios.
